I once built and hosted a high profile website for a public figure (a former minister of Uganda) but I almost gave up the gig when the site was hacked and repopulated with Porn and Chinese text. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently I ran into a similar situation after a client from a highly competitive market also faced the same issues. I have learnt quite a lot in regards to securing WordPress sites and I would like to share with the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deploying advanced WordPress security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WordPress is the most popular blogging and CMS system, which makes it a favorite target for hackers. Having a WordPress website means that you have to make some extra effort in order to protect you and your visitor&#8217;s data. I will discuss much on the best practices for securing a WordPress site, that will help developers\/designers do that.
